Aloha Writers Retreat or Aloha Writers Conference Scholarships
We currently have a limited number of partial scholarships for those wishing to attend the Aloha Writers Retreat and the Aloha Writers Conference. To learn more about the retreat, click here. To learn more about the conference, click here.
The partial scholarship for the Aloha Writers Conference offers qualifying applicants a savings of $400.00, you pay only $345.00. The partial scholarship for the Aloha Writers Retreat offers qualifying applicants a savings of $600.00, you pay only $495.00. Teacher’s Track Scholarship
The Aloha Writers Conference is pleased to offer scholarships for a free, one-day Teacher’s Track on Sunday, January 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to DOE teachers in Hawaii. Scholarships are limited. In order to begin the scholarship process, fill out the form below and select the scholarship you are applying for. You will be contacted shortly after submission regarding your application.
The Teacher’s Track event on January 20 will be held at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua. A Grab-And-Go Lunch is included. Participating teachers are invited to the Opening and Closing General Sessions of the Aloha Writers Conference featuring keynote speakers Kaui Hart Hemmings, author of The Descendants and Diane Lake, winner of two Academy Awards. Teachers will also work with our cultural specialists from the conference. A limited number of public school teachers may receive two Professional Development Credits by registering and attending a Saturday follow-up workshop at UHMC on February 9, 2013.
