Kaui Hart Hemmings

Author of The Descendants, Kaui Hart Hemmings was born and raised in Hawaii. She received her degrees from Colorado College and Sarah Lawrence College. She is the author of House of Thieves, a collection of stories.The Descendants was Kaui’s debut novel. It has been published in nine countries and was made into the highly acclaimed American film by Fox Searchlight starring George Clooney.
